If there is one thing....

If there is one thing I am going to miss about living here in Norquay (the sticks) compared to living at Prov, is the night-time thunderstorms. It just won't be the same. Driving out on some dirt road, and watching the craziness of the weather. Or even the night-time starry sky.

Im sure it will be just as cool, just different. Maybe I will see all this in a completely different light.

First crack at it.....

Well, i figured it's time to start up a legitimate Blog up. Considering im moving to Providence and all, everyone seems to be doing it. And hell, if Rob Horsley can blog, then so can I.

Well i just got back from a week of camp at Covenant Heights Bible Camp in Clear Lake. It was a great week, full of friends, some family and just all around great people. It was great to spend time with people from Faith Covenant and everywhere else. I learned quite a bit this week, from many people. A good week indeed.

But i thought should tell the story of how i got stitches. There is always the annual walk to Wasagaping, Wasagajack, or Wasagaming, whatever its called. And i almost always do this, as a tradition. But you know that part where you have Clear Lake on the left side of you on the path, and then that other "lake" on the right side of you? Well, this is where the path got washed away, but we decided to cross anyways. At first Sean was gonna carry me on his back, but he sunk deep into the mud, so i just decided to suck it up, and walk across. As i did this i cut the top of my left foot open on a rock, or piece of glass, im not sure. I didn't even really feel it happen, but when i got out of the water, it started bleeding pretty bad and such. So i told Nadine that i thought i needed some stitches, i thought she was gonna pass out, but she did good. So they switched off carrying me to Wasagajack and Shauna picked me up. I ended up having to go to Minnedosa for stitches. Which wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be, the nurse was quite good looking.

So all in all, a good week.
